About the role:

 

Production Supervisor (6PM-6AM | Schedule 2/2/3 | Vesper, WI

 

Kerry is seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to join our team in Vesper, WI on the 6PM-6AM shift. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of 10-15 production employees, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations during your shift.

 

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing employees, driving performance, and fostering a positive team culture. Responsibilities include hiring and training employees, assigning and directing work, conducting performance evaluations, recognizing and addressing employee performance, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Duties:

>Analyzes work orders to estimate employee hours and create equipment operating schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
>Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
>Responsible for product quality and safety and for the associated record keeping activities as they apply.
>Computes amounts of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials from storage area.
>Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for employees, and assigns duties as necessary.
>Plans flow of materials through department and develops physical layout of equipment according to work orders.
>Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
>Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
>Directs employees in adjusting machines and equipment to address products which fail to meet standards.
>Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
>Suggests changes in work procedures to meet production schedules.
>Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
>Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.
>Maintains time and production records.
>Develops capital equipment justifications for equipment, tools, and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
>Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.

Qualifications and skills:

 

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

 

The typical hiring range for this role is $63,600 - $95,400  annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
