The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading all warehouse operations in a fast‑paced beverage production environment. This role oversees a non‑union workforce, ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory management, and timely support of production and distribution activities. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP experience and a proven track record of developing high‑performing teams.
Key responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
• Direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, loading, and outbound shipping.
• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging to production lines to prevent downtime.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S/Lean practices.
• Oversee proper stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO standards.
People Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a non-union team of warehouse associates and forklift operators.
• Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage scheduling, attendance, and labor planning to meet operational demands.
SAP & Inventory Management
• Utilize SAP to manage inventory transactions, material movements, cycle counts, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Support annual physical inventory activities and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
• Generate and analyze warehouse KPIs to drive performance improvements.
Safety & Compliance
• Enforce OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements across all warehouse activities.
• Conduct safety audits, equipment inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure the safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to support plant objectives.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and logistics partners.
• Communicate proactively to resolve issues impacting production schedules or customer service.
Qualifications and skills
• 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience within a manufacturing environment; food or beverage industry experience preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
• Hands-on SAP experience (IM/WM or EWM strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $63,000 - $103,450 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
