What You'll Do:
We’re seeking a Sanitation Lead who brings expertise in facility hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You will find your experience appreciated as you help us maintain the highest standards in our facility.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Expertise in Facility Hygiene & Food Safety: Demonstrates thorough knowledge of sanitation standards, SSOPs, GMPs, and food safety protocols; ensures compliance and maintains high hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Organizational Skills: Effectively manages sanitation schedules, documentation, and reporting; maintains accurate records and communicates issues promptly.
- Leadership & Training: Provides guidance and training to team members, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting ongoing development in sanitation practices and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Applies knowledge of chemical handling, pest control, and sanitation-related equipment; ensures safe and efficient operations.
- Safety & Compliance Orientation: Champions a safety-first culture, participates in inspections, and ensures adherence to OSHA and company regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works effectively across departments to support facility-wide hygiene and operational goals.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Engages in ongoing learning, adapts to new requirements, and contributes to process enhancements and special projects.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 years or older
- 2+ years of food production sanitation experience (CIP/COP experience preferred)
- 6+ months of electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred
- Knowledge of chemical handling, pest control, HACCP, SQF, and organics
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and SAP software preferred
- Flexible and available for variable shifts and overtime; strong attendance record
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Physically able to lift 30–60 lbs, maneuver drums, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in wet, dry, or hot environments

The pay rate for this position is $34.00 per hour.
