About the role
Kerry (Canada) Inc is recruiting for an Assistant Lead- Operator to provide support to all areas of production ensuring that both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe efficient manner.
Salary (Pay Rate): $23-25/hr
This position has a continuous 12-hour shift and is both days and nights.
Key responsibilities
- Operate mobile equipment
- Perform and lead preventative maintenance
- Contribute to implement continuous improvements
- Maintain consistent production quality and work records
- Provide leadership when required and support when required
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Experience leading a shift in a continuous production environment would be an asset
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to perform physical labour or work at heights
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Able to comprehend and follow safety procedures
- Work well in a team environment and able to communicate well with peers and supervisors via verbal and written communication
- Strong work ethic

The pay range for this position is $23 - $25 per hour.
