About the role

 

We are currently looking for Supply Chain Specialists for our newly established Planning Services Centre in Oleśnica near Wrocław.
The Planning Services Centre is a new hub designed to streamline and enhance our supply chain operations across Europe. It serves as the central point for all supply chain planning activities, including Transport Planning, Material Planning, and Supply Planning – Master Production Scheduling.

The Material Planner plays a key role in managing material call‑offs within the central supply chain function. This position involves close coordination with the Central Supply Planner, Site Production Scheduler, Central Transport Planner, and cross‑functional teams working in partnership with Material Call‑Off. The primary aim is to ensure timely and complete material call‑offs, enabling the achievement of defined output (OTIF).

The first three months of the probation period will be office‑based, followed by a hybrid model with 10 remote‑work days per month.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Managing alerts in the material call‑off process, including rescheduling, coverage issues, and short reporting.
  • Overseeing the ordering workflow: converting requisitions to purchase orders, issuing orders to suppliers, and tracking confirmations.
  • Reviewing daily metrics such as inbound delivery shortages, material concerns, escalations, and unconfirmed purchase orders.
  • Coordinating internal and external communication through SAP and digital channels.
  • Handling tolling and subcontracting activities, including dispatching materials and updating component details.
  • Monitoring supplier OTIF performance, maintaining failure codes, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Identifying and flagging required master data updates, including NPI‑related changes.
  • Contributing to medium‑term planning by reviewing SAP alerts.
  • Participating in supplier OTIF investigations and corrective actions.
  • Taking part in aged inventory reviews and inventory management activities such as block/rework and leftover stock actions.
  • Working with production planning when parts are missing, including managing the Find & Replace process.
  • Managing Accounts Payable queries, dispute investigations, and credit approvals.
  • Managing supplier non‑conformances in SAP, including classification, investigation, RCCA creation, escalation, and closure.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for raw materials, finished goods, and cost optimisation.
  • Working with the quality team on QI release‑related matters.

Qualifications and skills

 

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in Material Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Customer Care. We welcome candidates from diverse educational and career pathways.
Experience: First experience in Supply Chain Planning or Procurement, Customer Care. Transferable skills from related roles are valued.
Industry/Sector Experience: Experience in the Food Ingredients, Flavours, or Beverage industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. We encourage applicants from varied sectors who can bring fresh perspectives.

 

Technical Skills:


Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is beneficial but not essential).
Strong Excel skills are required.
Familiarity with PowerBI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
Languages: Fluency in English is required. Polish not required. Very good spoken and written Spanish- desirable.
