About the role

Key responsibilities

  • Creation, update and management of raw material and packaging material specifications across all regions and ensure communication and sign off with suppliers
  • Ensures regulatory, technical & food safety compliance of raw material specifications
  • Supports the implementation of Procurement’s tenders & long-term solutions
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners for execution of strategic initiatives
  • Perform data management activities (data analysis, data clean-up, reporting)
  • Supports the creation, update, and maintenance of specification database and enablement tools
  • Contributes to horizon scanning of emerging food regulations, food safety, food fraud and provide recommendations to the organization
  • Develops and implements project plans, KPIs, dashboards and communicate to global and regional peers
  • Develops and implements one way of working globally through creation of SOPs & change control per approved business process
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen capabilities and process improvements
  • Leverages technical expertise in understanding and solving complex issues
  • Support Supply Quality business initiatives & implementation of strategy which may include supporting functional structure
  • May support Centre of Scale (CoS) initiatives with supplier & raw material risk assessment, supplier raw material relationship management and verification program, as required

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or related field
  • 1- 2 years' experience in regulatory, quality, product development or specification management
  • With an understanding of raw materials and raw material properties
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and complaint resolution skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization
  • Able to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to drive alignment
  • With a continuous improvement mindset
  • Good command of verbal and written English
