About the role

 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing material call-offs within the central supply chain function. This role involves close collaboration with the Central Supply Planner, Site Production Scheduler, Central Transport Planner, and cross-functional teams working collaboratively with Material Call Off. The primary objective is to ensure timely and complete material call-offs, enabling the achievement of committed output (OTIF).

 

Work Location: 1 Powerhouse - Bandar Utama (5 mins walk from MRT) 

 

Reporting To:   Material Planning Team Lead 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

• Oversee alerts in the call-off process, including rescheduling, over/under coverage, and short reporting.
• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders, send them to vendors, and secure confirmations.
• Review daily metrics, focusing on short inbound deliveries, material concerns, escalations, and unconfirmed PO's.
• Manage internal and external communications via SAP Cockpits, Email, and Teams.
• Handle dispatch of materials to vendors and update component details in POs where applicable.
• Monitor and maintain supplier OTIF, escalate issues to the Category Material Planner, and track failure reasons.
• Flag and manage required updates to SKU master data, especially for NPI impacting call-off, in coordination with the Planning Data Analyst.
• Support SAP alert resolution during medium-term supply planning.
• Assist in aged inventory reviews, block/rework/leftover stock actions, and QI release challenges.
• Help resolve missing parts issues during production plan release, including Find & Replace management.
• Manage OpenText AP queries, investigate disputes, and handle credit approvals or denials.
• Address received non-conformances in SAP, conduct investigations, initiate RCCAs, and close feedback loops.
• Contribute to initiatives for raw material and finished goods planning efficiency and cost reduction.

 

Qualifications and skills

 

 

• Preferably a minimum of 1-3 years Supply Chain Planning or Procurement based role.
• Food Ingredients & Flavors, Beverage industry preferred but not required.
• Good working experience of ERP (SAP Preferred), Excel and PowerBI.
