About the role

As a QA Specialist, you would be supporting food safety and quality management system through implementing the policy and procedure and conduct planned strategy and testing to meet regulation and other requirements compliance. Also assist in setting quality standards and ensure that product manufacturing is maintained at such standards.

 

Work Location: Karawang, Indonesia

Reporting To: Quality Systems Lead

Key responsibilities

  • Support quality management systems operation within organization
  • Undertake assigned series of procedures or techniques in accordance with Kerry standards, FSSC 22000 and customer requirements throughout manufacturing process, e.g. CCP & OPRP verification
  • Support program activities that applicable regarding authority regulations and company food safety and quality assurance standards, such as audit and field inspection, also for finished goods triple redundancy check
  • Ensure operational documents, for instance procedure and work instruction are well managed and 
    in-use to end users
  • Support the management of non-conformances and corrective action as necessary.
  • Assist departments by coordinate and provide training/ briefing regarding applicable or initial issued FSQ procedures
  • Participate and contribute to environmental, health, and safety values
  • Accountable to manage priorities and schedules that align with individual goals independently, as well as team goals are achieved with active participation
  • Execute other relevant tasks as required

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology, Nutrition, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of relevant experience is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Halal Assurance System); familiarity with additional standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital tools
