About the role

 

•    Work Location:     Plentong, Johor
•    Reporting Line:     Quality Section Manager
•    Working Hours:     8.00am – 8.00pm / 8.00pm – 8.00 am

Key responsibilities

 

• Perform sensory, analytical testing (pH, Titration, SG, spectrophotometer etc..) and / or instrumental evaluation of raw material, in process, or finished products following SOP and specification.
• Ensure the laboratory is well-maintained, including upkeep of equipment, stocking of lab supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
• Record experimental results accurately and communicate findings to QA Executive
• Provide technical support and participate in other activities as needed.
• Maintain laboratory data, files, supplies, and calibrate equipment on a regular schedule as well as maintaining databases.

Qualifications and skills

 

• Diploma in a relevant science subject.
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a laboratory technician or internship food processing company as part of a Diploma programme. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in a testing laboratory, food science, or flavour laboratory environment, primarily in laboratory and pilot scale settings.
• Familiarity with HACCP, manual handling, safety protocols, and chemical handling practices.
• Independence in handling tasks and responsibilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail in all laboratory procedures.
