About the role

The Lab Technician is responsible for monitoring the quality of online processes and finished goods, ensuring all products meet established quality standards and specifications.

 

Work Location:                        Tampoi, Johor

Reporting To:                          Assistant QA Manager

Working Hours:                       8.00am – 4.00pm / 4.00pm – 12.00 am / 12.00am – 8.00am 

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of the Overall Quality Plan.
  • Perform product testing as outlined in the Quality Plan and relevant standards.
  • Participate in proficiency testing programs to ensure testing accuracy and competency.
  • Monitor laboratory consumables, track usage, and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Provide support for quality control (QC) activities as needed.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum SPM qualification or higher
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Willing to work in a laboratory environment with rotating shifts
