Key responsibilities
- Direct and manage plant maintenance for the entire complex.
- Direct and manage WWT facility operations.
- Assist with the control of profits, plans, and budgets.
- Make improvements that promote the success of Kerry, including reducing mistakes, increasing efficiency, improving product quality, Kaizen, and Safety Incident reduction.
- Provide leadership, development, and training to staff.
- Promote opportunities for employees to upgrade skills through training sessions and seminars.
- Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments as directed.
- Monitor reports to ensure achievement of financial, safety, quality, and on-time maintenance/WWT goals; take corrective and preventative actions for discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Control and minimize labor overtime, repair, and other expenses.
- Oversee programs instituted by management to ensure a healthy and safe working environment and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure the WWTF is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion with emphasis on efficiency.
- Report to the Engineering Manager regularly and work closely to establish operating goals and expansion plans.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience effectively developing and executing a master production schedule and manufacturing plan.
- Extensive experience in process improvement/re-engineering; familiar with process definition, process and yield improvement, cost reduction, and cycle-time analysis.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and cost-reduction techniques.
- Knowledge of various quality and inspection requirements, manufacturing processes, and measurement techniques.
- Ability to supervise maintenance employees.
- Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of experience in manufacturing preferred.

Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $75,602 - $123,432 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
