About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at our Taste & Nutrition manufacturing facility in Glamsbjerg. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing quality complaints, site audits, and non-conformities, as well as ensuring that procedures, processes, and work instructions are continuously updated to meet Kerry standards, ISO 22000, and customer requirements.

This is an on-site, permanent, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Assess QA/QC and food safety developments, ensuring their effective application within the organisation and reporting any issues
• Develop site plans related to quality, including staffing, processes, and installations
• Translate approved plans into practical objectives and actionable initiatives
• Analyse data, draw conclusions, and take appropriate actions, including blocking or rejecting products where necessary
• Report to stakeholders and contribute to identifying improvements and solutionsAdvise on and monitor the release or reprocessing of blocked or rejected batches
• Establish and manage risk mitigation programmes
• Evaluate process and system reliability through audits, supervising activities, and tracking outcomes
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external requirementsInvestigate potential emergencies and unsafe situationsImplement or coordinate corrective actions as required
• Oversee quality control activities and internal and external audits
• Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders in cases of emergencies, complaints, or quality issues
• Define and monitor action plans to resolve failures, complaints, and incidents
• Make decisions on results falling outside specificationsIdentify and take appropriate actions related to food safety concerns
• Manage complaints, directly or indirectly, including advising on and overseeing product recalls.

Qualifications and skills

• Previous background in Quality Assurance, ideally within food production
• Strong IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP experience will be advantage
• Good understanding of quality standards and food safety/production processes
• Fluency in both Danish and English
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
