1st Shift 6 am to 4:30 pm 10 Hour Shift. Days you will work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $28.45 to 30.95 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Maintenance Bonus $2500 sign on bonus $250 after two weeks no attendance issues. $2250 after 120 days.
What You'll DO
Equipment Maintenance & Repair:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on mixers, blenders, conveyors, packaging machines, and other production equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement:
Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Recommend and assist with process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all work complies with OSHA, GMP, and food safety regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Collaboration:
Work closely with production teams to minimize disruptions and support operational goals.
Assist in equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning projects.
What You'll Need To Succeed
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Technology preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature environments.
Comfortable working around food ingredients and allergens.
Work Schedule:
Full-time; Friday, Saturday, Sunday Monday 10 hour shift.
