About the role

Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavoring and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savory and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.

We have two vacancies for this department. 

  • Warehouse Material Handler is a 2nd shift opportunity. Monday to Friday, some Saturday's 2:30 pm - 10:30pm

Key responsibilities

Primary Purpose: Responsible for moving materials efficiently and timely for manufacturing and warehouse operations. Maintain accurate inventory records during movement of materials throughout the facility.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1.  Remove materials from production for storage and for orders using Forklift and Drexel vehicles.

2.  Supply manufacturing with materials on a demand basis.

3.  Move and rearrange inventory as instructed for consolidation, organization, and efficiency.

4.  Move new materials and inventory into proper stock locations

5.  Using RF Scanners to move inventory to and from locations throughout the facility.

6.  Proper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures.

7.  Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow good safety practices as directed by safety teachings.

8.  Maintain GMP’s and complete functions listed on the sanitation schedule.

9.  Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Must report all deviations to a member of management and QA- and set product aside until further instructed.

10.  Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications and skills

Minimum Requirements:

High School or equivalent. Must be able to proficiently operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions. Some basic computer skills. Basic math skills, capable of reading and writing in English. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be agile and can bend to lower heights. Must be able to see and distinguish between labels. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk through the warehouse.

 

Working Environment:

Ambient factory environment with exposure to flavor and basic product chemicals, raw materials and finished goods.

 

 

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $17.34 - $27.56 per hour.  Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on 1/31/2026.
