What You'll Do:

 

The primary role of the Production Supervisor is to lead by example, drive strategic growth and manage change effectively. You'll engage with internal and external clients, develop talent, and collaborate across the organization to maximize value. This role is essential for fostering a culture of excellence, safety and continuous improvement within the company.  You'll spend 75% of your time on the production floor and interacting with cross functional teams to anticipate challenges and take action to maximize quality and efficiencies.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead and develop a team of 15-35 production employees.
  • Foster a Safety First, Quality Always culture.
  • Drive daily production performance, schedule attainment, and labor efficiency.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees through ongoing feedback and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, BRC, and company safety standards.
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Safety teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Maintain accurate production reporting and inventory controls using SAP and other systems.

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in food, beverage, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience leading and developing hourly production teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of HACCP, GMP, SQF, BRC, and food safety systems.
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using SAP, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.

What We Offer:

 

The hiring range for this position is $74,200. - $84,800. in Annual Salary.  Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and location.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on October 5, 2026.

 

This is a 3rd Shift role, the Production Operators are scheduled 10:30PM-7:00AM, with Overtime Available on Saturdays.
