About the role
The National Sales Executive supports the delivery of profitable growth across assigned accounts by executing customer plans, managing day‑to‑day account activity, and building foundational customer relationships.
This role is designed as a development pathway into Account Management, with increasing exposure to commercial decision‑making, customer ownership, and cross‑functional leadership over time.

- Reporting To: Commercial Director / Senior Account Manager
Key responsibilities
1. Account Support & Execution
- Support the execution of agreed customer account plans to deliver revenue and growth targets
- Manage day‑to‑day customer requirements including queries, requests, and coordination of internal teams
- Ensure timely and accurate follow‑through on all customer commitments
- Maintain strong attention to detail across pricing, specifications, and project tracking
2. Pipeline & Project Management
- Support the management of the project pipeline from brief through to commercialisation
- Work closely with RDA, supply chain and customer service to progress projects efficiently
- Track project status and ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders and customers
- Contribute to improving “first-time-right” execution
3. Customer Relationship Development
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key customer contacts
- Develop an understanding of customer needs, priorities, and ways of working
- Support senior team members in customer meetings, preparing materials and follow-ups
- Represent Kerry professionally and consistently in all interactions
4. Commercial Support & Insights
- Assist in building account reviews, customer presentations, and commercial proposals
- Support basic analysis of sales performance, pipeline health, and customer trends
- Identify opportunities to improve execution, efficiency, or customer experience
- Contribute to identifying new opportunities within existing accounts
5. Cross‑Functional Alignment
- Work collaboratively with RDA, marketing, supply chain, and finance to deliver customer outcomes
- Ensure internal teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and customer expectations
- Support clear briefs and communication to enable efficient project delivery
6. Accountabilities
- Delivery of agreed executional objectives within assigned accounts
- Quality and accuracy of customer and project coordination
- Pipeline visibility and follow‑through on actions
- Contribution to overall account performance and customer satisfaction

Qualifications and skills
- Degree in Business, Food Science, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in sales, account management support, or a commercial role
- Exposure to Food & Beverage, Ingredients, or FMCG environment advantageous
- Strong Excel / PowerPoint capability preferred
- This role is intended to develop into an Account Manager / Key Account Manager role, with progression driven by:
- Demonstrated ownership of account segments
- Ability to independently manage projects and customer relationships
- Growth in commercial acumen and decision-making capability
