About the role

• Work Location   : Bella Vista, New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
• Reporting To      : General Manager ANZ

As a Flavour Genius you will be responsible for positioning and promoting Davinci’s product portfolio within the market, driving growth in our Flagship Brand. As a Foodservice Beverage Applications Lead you will be the go-to expert in creation and delivery of market leading beverages that set the taste buds alive for consumers in Australia. You will be uniquely positioned to take the best of the branded solutions, supported by customs solutions from the local market to drive and deliver fast to market solutions for Foodservice.

You will work closely with DaVinci distributors within the market and some of the biggest brands in Foodservice crafting ideas from insight that delight and drive growth for our customers and our business. For this role you need to have an inquisitive mind, an obsession to test and learn what resonates with consumers on the high street into the next big thing.

Key responsibilities

• Create and be the voice of innovation and excitement in the beverage field.
• Deliver impactful demonstrations and brand presentation with showmanship.
• Constantly share and learn trends in your market and across the region to bring the best of innovation to your market.
• Support our distributor to manage Da Vinci Gourmet promotions – provide recipes development and
• Develop recipes and application builds for different channels and applications (food service, coffee shop, bar, hotel) that win in the market.
• Ideally be beverage category trained so able to speak the same language as the target audience, stakeholders ie R&D Managers, Beverage Menu developers across the range of key accounts
• Identify current market trends and opportunities for new product development, to be shared with the internal stake holders.
• Proven track recording in menu development, self-motivated and driven.
• Support marketing for social media platforms and building a digital community.

Performance Measures

• Shared Financial KPI’s for volume, revenue and business margins, with your commercial partners
• Support annual improvement to NPS score by delivering market leading experiences for our customers
• External thought leadership articles and community performance targets

Qualifications and skills

• Certificate or Diploma with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Barista, Mixology, Flavour applications or beverage R&D.
• Proven track record of creating and launching innovative/creative beverages in the market.
• Ability to work from strategic creative briefs and support or lead the development of new concepts and products.
• Strong consultative skills for menu development, capable of engaging foodservice operators in both individual and group settings using various media, including videos, webinars, and live demonstrations.
• Excellent presentation skills, with confidence in addressing large audiences.
