About the role

  • In this role you will be act as primary business partner on strong performance delivery and support business growth initiatives for China.
  • You will also be responsible for managing all risk management areas of the China business, including managing margin control and AR collection.
  • You will closely engage with Commercial leadership and Group Finance team by providing business insights and supporting strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Influence & Drive Business Growth: Clarity on sales targets at monthly, quarterly, and yearly level. Working alongside the commercial leaders to drive actions on delivery of targets.
  • Provide commercial partnering through using insights on sales trends, future forecasting and external market data to improve and drive business growth at market level.
  • Identify Opportunity & Risk for business growth and escalate the gaps/issues in advance.
  • Lead PMM for the China business across market/technology portfolio where we have opportunities to expand margin.
  • Reengineer financial control: Set the clear process to be compliant and control in place for Pricing, Rebate, Promotion Fees, other payment, and AR collection.
  • Risk Management: Work in collaboration with procurement and operations teams in understanding movement of key cost metrics and create and deliver mitigation and recovery plans to maintain business profitability.
  • Support M&A for new market.

Qualifications and skills

  • Business Degree and/or Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
  • 7+ Years’ experience in Food Industry, or commercial finance roles BP/Budgeting/Pricing activities.
  • Strong analytical skills. In commercial finance management including data collection and analysing.
  • Integrity and sound judgement in all decisions, can work under pressure with clear priorities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, Power BI, SAP and CRM platforms.
  • Results orientated and drive to deliver on targets.
  • Matured communication and, inter-personal skills, leadership to build strong team.
