About the role
We are seeking a Continuous Improvement & Automation professional to identify, analyze, and deliver process improvement opportunities across Global Business Services (GBS). This role will drive operational excellence through Lean, Agile, and digital automation initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional and global stakeholders to support transformation, efficiency, and data‑driven decision‑making.
The position requires a hands‑on mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead initiatives through influence in a complex, matrixed environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and deliver process improvement opportunities using Lean, Agile, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Lead the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of automation solutions (RPA, Power Automate, UiPath, VBA, Python).
- Support BI and data‑driven initiatives, including ETL process automation, dataset preparation, SQL‑based data manipulation, and dashboard development (Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx).
- Document and maintain process flows, SOPs, QMS documentation, and standard work.
- Apply structured problem‑solving methodologies (A3, 8D, RCA, Kaizen) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 capabilities (Power Apps, Power Pages, SharePoint, Forms, Lists) within GBS process areas.
- Analyze operational metrics, KPIs, and system performance to recommend and implement improvements.
- Support ISO‑aligned quality programs, internal audits, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective integrations between ERP, CRM, databases, and automation tools.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and change adoption.
- Collaborate with global process owners, functional leaders, and GBS stakeholders to align improvement initiatives.
- Support end‑to‑end deployment of transformation initiatives, including automation wave planning, process migration, and optimization.
- Contribute to GBS knowledge sharing, governance, best practices, and capability‑building.
- Participate in cross‑functional Continuous Improvement, Automation, and Digital Transformation communities.
Qualifications and skills
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, AI, or a related discipline.
- Certifications are a plus: Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, Agile, Scrum, RPA certifications, ISO auditing.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Automation, Business Intelligence, IT, or Process Optimization.
Role‑Specific Skills
- Hands‑on experience leading CI initiatives (Lean, Agile, 5S, A3, 8D).
- Strong technical skills in UiPath, Power Automate, VBA, SQL, Python, and BI dashboard tools.
- Experience with process documentation, audits, SOP development, and standard work.
- Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
- IT systems administration knowledge is preferred.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Experience leading initiatives without direct authority.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
