Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across foodservice and related channels.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships through regular engagement and business reviews.
- Deliver sales presentations and product recommendations that align with customer objectives.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, customer care, and other internal stakeholders to develop customer-focused solutions.
- Track market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements in alignment with company objectives.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer meetings, business development activities, and industry events.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within food ingredients, foodservice, beverage, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing customer relationships.
- Experience working across a defined geographic territory.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the Greater Tennessee region.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company travel requirements.

The pay range for this position is $70,100 - $109,050 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
