About the role

 

Work Location:         Jakarta, Indonesia 
Reporting To:            Foodservice Brands Country Manager
Working Hours:        8.30am – 5.30pm

 

As a Flavour Genius, you will collaborate closely with distributors, Key Account Managers, and customers to create inspiring beverage concepts that drive business growth. Leveraging your expertise in mixology, beverage innovation, and market trends, you will develop creative applications, deliver impactful demonstrations, and position DaVinci Gourmet as the preferred partner for beverage excellence across foodservice, café, hotel, bar, and restaurant channels.

Key responsibilities

 

Brand Advocacy & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the DaVinci Gourmet brand ambassador, delivering compelling product demonstrations and presentations with creativity, confidence, and showmanship.
  • Promote and strengthen the DaVinci Gourmet brand presence across key accounts and industry events.
  • Conduct customer workshops, training sessions, live demonstrations, webinars, and tasting experiences to inspire customers and showcase beverage solutions. 

 

Beverage Innovation & Menu Development

  • Develop innovative beverage recipes and menu concepts tailored to various channels, including cafés, coffee chains, restaurants, bars, hotels, and foodservice operators.
  • Translate market trends and consumer insights into commercially viable beverage concepts and applications.
  • Partner with customers to co-create unique menu offerings that drive differentiation and business growth.
  • Provide consultative menu development support and technical expertise to customers and stakeholders. 

 

Commercial & Channel Development

  • Collaborate with distributors and sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities across key channels.
  • Support customer acquisition, account development, and promotional activities through compelling beverage solutions and product applications.
  • Drive category growth by recommending innovative concepts that align with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Contribute proactively to channel planning initiatives and execution strategies to achieve business objectives. 

 

Market Intelligence & Collaboration

  • Continuously monitor beverage, café, and foodservice trends, sharing relevant insights and innovation opportunities with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging consumer preferences and opportunities for new product development.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to develop customer-centric solutions and innovation pipelines. 

 

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Support marketing initiatives by creating engaging beverage content and participating in social media campaigns, events, and brand activations.
  • Maintain application and presentation areas to ensure readiness for customer visits, demonstrations, and innovation sessions.

Qualifications and skills

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Beverage Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in beverage innovation, mixology, barista operations, beverage R&D, or a customer-facing technical role within the foodservice industry.
  • Demonstrated experience promoting branded products and delivering customer presentations, training, or demonstrations.
  • Proven track record in menu development, beverage innovation, and customer engagement.
  • Experience working with cafés, restaurants, hotels, bars, foodservice operators, or beverage brands is highly preferred.
