About the role

As part of our Taste & Nutrition business, the Sales Account Manager will drive growth by selling Kerry’s industry-leading taste solutions to manufacturers across Türkiye. This role focuses on strengthening key customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and executing strategic plans across various End Use Markets.

The Sales Account Manager leads the full sales cycle, represents our complete product portfolio with a customer-first approach, and ensures account planning aligns with client needs and expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Leads sales to best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel, RD&A, Marketing etc.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Collaborate with relevant departments in existing and emerging processes related to the function; perform duties in alignment with Kerry’s values, demonstrating open-mindedness, inclusiveness, and ownership.

Qualifications and skills

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Account Management, Technical Sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field would be desirable
  • Experience working with key players in the food industry with key achievements
  • Depth of knowledge and sales experience in Bakery, Confectionary and one or more End Use Market (Dairy, Beverage)
  • Native Turkish Speaker with strong communication skills in English (oral and written) and good organizational qualities to self-manage workload.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - the ability to work autonomously in this sub-region, whilst using the support of regional and global teams
  • Experience in working in international environments and the process industry is desirable
