About the role

 

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to continue to identify new business and grow our portfolio of Snacking and Savory EUM customers in France.

 

Based in France, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share for Kerry Group in the France market - Savoury Snacks EUM.

 

The role will focus on developing strategic relationships with key food manufacturers, managing target accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering the sales budget. The position will collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams to provide value-added solutions tailored to customer needs.

 

This is a strategic role, working across France, you will also be required to travel up to 60% of your time, across France as well as occasional travel to our sites across Europe.

What you'll be doing

 

  • New business development and key account management of selected strategic partners in the Savoury Snack EUMs (End Use Markets).
  • Leverage the many sales tools and business enablers at your disposal, to fully understand our customers’ needs and thereby effectively convey the Kerry value proposition in relevant EUMs. 
  • Effectively promote the Kerry products collections and identify and present opportunities for profitable new developments, through deep analysis of customers’ branding and positioning on their markets.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal colleagues across all departments, including applications team, to ensure appropriate resources for all projects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the categories in which Kerry operates, key manufacturers supplying them, the competitive mix and regulatory framework.
  • Create and implement Key Account Plans in alignment with internal stakeholders and in partnership with the customer(s).
  • Strive to be our customers’ most valued partner by putting them at the centre of everything we do, thereby ensuring excellent service and sustainable growth.
  • Deliver above market growth in line with Country, Region and Group aspirations. 

 

What you can bring to the role

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Proven B2B sales experience in the food ingredients, flavours, or food manufacturing sector
  • Solid understanding of the French food industry
  • Experience managing key accounts and complex sales cycles
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Experience working in an international matrix organization is an advantage
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships at multiple levels
  • Strategic account management capability
  • Results-driven with strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent French and English essential.
  • Willing to travel 60%+ of the time
  • A full driving licence
