About the role

The Senior Flavourist position is a key role that will develop commercially successful flavors as based on customer projects and portfolio needs.

This individual with interact successfully with regional and global creative teams and implement innovative citrus technologies strategic for citrus growth.

Proactively drive flavour innovation and technology in citrus and support major customers when and where needed.

Key responsibilities

 

Qualifications and skills

Four Year Degree/ (BS/BA in biological or chemical science preferred)

Minimum of 10 years experience in flavor industry creative function (entry level through Flavorist).

Completed qualifying Flavorist training Program and/or proven track record at equivalent level with competitor.

Certified Member of the Flavor Chemist Society with proven track record at equivalent level with competitor

Fluent in English. Additional languages highly desirable.

Excellent communication, computer and math skills.

Extensive experience and knowledge of the food and beverage industry, specifically if experience is within a flavour house or deep knowledge of Yeast extract, Fermentation technologies. 

 

The pay range for this position is $140.467 - $244,122 in Annual Salary.  Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.  In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on 2/28/2026.
