About the role

The RDA Technologist supports product development, application work, and scale-up activities across soups, sauces, dressings, toppings, doughnut fillings, glazes, and frostings. The role provides hands-on technical assistance, ensuring successful execution of projects from lab to factory while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Work Location: Giza, Egypt
Reporting To: RD&A Manager

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and test product samples under the guidance of senior scientists.
• Assist in formulation trials, sensory evaluations, and process optimization.
• Conduct lab and pilot plant experiments and accurately record test results.
• Support customer presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Coordinate ingredient sourcing and maintain raw material inventory.
• Prepare documentation, specifications, and sample submissions.
• Participate in factory trials and assist during product scale-up.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications and skills

• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in product development or applications within the food industry.
• Basic understanding of formulation, processing, and sensory evaluation.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English with good communication and teamwork abilities.
